The International Mime Festival took place at Viterbo College in LaCrosse, Wisconsin in July of 1974. The three week workshop and festival combination was a result of two years of work by teachers at Viterbo College, headed by Louis Campbell, the director of the International Mime Institute and Festival. Mimes and theatrical dance troupes from around the country and around the world were invited to attend either in a performance capacity, as a student, or as a teacher of one of many workshops. ...
